Sustainable development requires cascade biomass use and carbon that remains combined for as long as possible. Biomass should not be burned until the end of the utilisation chain. This reduces the amount of CO₂ released into the atmosphere.

The use of recycled fibres allows carbon to remain combined for longer. This has beneficial effects on the climate and the environment.

This means that recycled fibres are a perfect complement to primary fibres: however, both should be used in an ecologically responsible way, bearing in mind the product requirement with regard to the degrees of whiteness, stiffness and hygiene.

Bleaching paper with chlorine impurifies the waste water and allows pollutants to enter the food chain, for example by way of fish and birds. That's why we offer paper that is ECF (elemental chlorine free) and TCF (total chlorine free).

Instead they are bleached using oxygen and hydrogen peroxide.
